Beautiful original oil painting of two horses by Piero Tamo (Switzerland, 1899-1966). This is a painting done after the painting by Henry William Banks Davis "Mother and Son" 1881 which resides at the at the Tate Museum, London. Tamo was a poet and a painter who worked in the realist style and did studies of famous paintings. Signed lower right "Piero Tamos" after "H.W.B. Davis". Image, 20"H x 26"L.
