Linda Dumont draws upon her childhood experiences in a vibrant and experimental art world to create extraordinary works. With a meticulous approach to canvas stretching and material selection, coupled with rigorous studies and structure, Dumont's artistic process is evident in every stroke. Her artworks have been showcased in prestigious venues such as museums, galleries, corporate headquarters, luxury department stores, hospitals, offices, and private collections. Raised in a family with a rich artistic legacy, including renowned artists Joseph Margulies and Mark Rothko as great uncles, Linda Dumont embraced her own unique vision early on.
With a disciplined study of drawing and structure at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University, Dumont developed a mastery of color and a diverse range of artistic styles. Her work, ranging from abstract paintings to representational expressionism, exudes a universal energy that connects viewers to both the artwork and each other.
