I can hear the sea, is an original contemporary landscape painting by Adele Riley. Adele Riley artist, takes her inspiration from her regular trips to Devon and Cornwall. This painting was Inspired by her walk to Porthgwarra cove, listening for the sea while passing bleached fields of ready to harvest crops
Adele Riley is a contest land and seascape artist , her work is available for sale online and in our art gallery at Wychwood Art. Adele Riley as a British-born artist living in Gloucestershire, I’m surrounded by some of the most natural and inspiring surroundings in the UK, well-placed to benefit from a huge variety of light, texture, and drama – perfect for what I do. I usually begin by sensing the subject, sometimes using a photo or a sketch to extract weather, light, horizons and shapes to commit the scene to canvas with a variety of media and paint. What I fear most is repetition, so I experiment a lot with media and colour. I feel strongly that we connect to colour as much as we do to the subject matter of a painting. Having studied Illustration at Epsom School of Art, I have always continued to learn and develop from my experiences and travels. Not having a formal fine arts grounding Ive found to be a positive thing, as I could appreciate painting by it’s many disciplines. Ive learned more by challenging the rules of fine art, as well as applying them. Its helped drive my enthusiasm and continued fascination and obsession I have for painting.

- Aradhana-22, Acrylic on Canvas Red by Contemporary Indian Artist "In Stock"Located in Kolkata, West BengalAnil Kumar Yadav - Aradhana-22 - 72 x 48 inches (unframed size) Acrylic on Canvas STYLE : Anil Kumar Yadav is an Artist from Kolkata who was born in 1984 a village in Uttar Pradesh. He grew up among villagers with modest lives and the village culture. The Rangolis at the village festival and the local potters’ fine works of art inspired him greatly towards art as a hobby and potential career from early childhood. His father was then posted to Kolkata so their family relocated to the city. Once the capital of India, with its rich cultural heritage and character immediately caught my attention. He started painting for the first time in the city. Since the central theme to his paintings is related to present day society, his works appear photographic or naturalistic. The religious ghats of Varanasi, Haridwar and other antique places attracted him for their cultural heritage characterised by the holy saints, antique architectures, old idol sculptures and mysticism, spirituality. So he portrayed the simplicity of the architectural doors, temples, sculptures and the beautiful narrow streets and ‘galis’ which holds beauty that can not be described in words. He always prefers a highly realistic approach in his paintings for whatever he sees in his surroundings. He started to represent paintings in a form whose expression manifests a step ahead of photography. He has always tried to reach to a horizon where photography cannot reach and make a statement what is called hyperrealism. White birch branches are contrasted by a dark ground that transitions from black to steel gray. The Birch Tree is the symbol of new beginnings, regeneration, hope, new dawns and the promise of what is to come. The tree carries ancient wisdom and yet appears forever young. With a natural eye for design, Faulkner was well known for his abstract paintings of low-relief decorative patterns informed by his love of the applied arts, from Art Nouveau inlays...Category
