Lorenzo’s work combines color inspiration from the impressionists and stylistics of pop like David Hockney into each painting to create something interesting and design forward. Artist Statement: Since childhood, about 5-6 years old, I have always felt the strange need to draw and paint. Drawing shapes with one simple pencil and then filling them with colors attracted me like a magnet, like that magical music that you don't want to stop to listening to. At the beginning it was a mixture of different feelings, some good and others as a way of escape and to ward off my ills. I know now art is a kind of therapy too. With the passage of time I have been understanding, as mother nature was becoming the main protagonist of my work, that there is nothing better than transmitting the love I feel for this nature (reflected in my family and in music too) that helps me so much. That is why I think that my painting is an attempt to explain this love that I feel for them, which is no different than love for life, for all living beings. And I think I'm getting it through the game of simple shapes and vivid colors. What you see it isn´t a “real” nature, it´s what I call a “dreamed landscape”, that is not an exact copy of a specific place or a photograph, but it is more the feeling that nature (walking its landscapes with my family at weekends or holidays, studying another painters´ artworks, seeing photos at magazines, or surfing by the net, etc) or music transmits me, that I represent in the canvas in a symbolic way.

  • Lonely Childhood In The Neighborhood Of Zombies - Painting Colors Yellow Blue
    By Vlado Vesselinov
    Located in Sofia, BG
"Lonely Childhood In The Neighborhood Of Zombies" (tribute to Hariton Pushwagner) is a painting by Maestro Vlado Vesselinov. About the painting: Style and Technic: POP ART, Contemporary, Acrylic paint on canvas The painting is unframed. “The impressions of artist's paintings on the viewer is so mighty, mesmerizing, grand, that it paralyzes the imagination and leaves no option. His paintings bring emotion of happiness, love, energy and beauty represented by the vast creative power of his talent.” Maestro Vesselinov has track records of multiples exhibitions. His works are owned in privet collections around the word. Painting of the Bulgarian artist Vlado Vesselinov is a great example that the vintage style prevails lately and is also present in the world of contemporary art. The work of Vesselinov should be read as an expression of nostalgia and fascination with the past - fashion, design and pop culture of the 60s. A characteristic feature of these images is a clearly visible texture of the canvas, which remind us pages that someone snatched from a fashion magazine found in the attic. It's similar to the effect used by Quentin Tarantino in his recent productions, where full of dirt and defects film reels pulls the audience in a unique atmosphere of a Drive-in theater. As for the colors of Vesselinov artworks, he clearly refers to the psychedelic record covers of Jimi Hendrix or Jefferson Airplaine. Vlado Vesselinov born in 1977 Bulgaria Solo exhibitions: 1998 – solo exhibition, Kyustendil, Bulgaria 1999 – solo exhibition – Gallery Kovachev, Kyustendil, Bulgaria 2000 – solo exhibition – Art Gallery "Vladimir Dimitrov...
