About the Item
Vladimir Kirchanov was a celebrated artist of the Soviet period, today posthumously holding the titles of Honored Artist of the Russian Federation and Peoples' Artist of the Russian Federation. He was one of the most famous painters of Siberia and known for all genres of work including a series of paintings on some of Siberia's indigenous people. "Village Landscape with Horses" is an honest depiction of an everyday scene in the Russian countryside.
His works are in the permanent collections of various Russian museums.
