About the Item
The majesty of the morning tide at sunrise sends a warm glow along the seashore and into the hearts of all those lucky enough to behold ocean at that moment. This original oil painting is more than a marine landscape, it is a welcoming to a beautiful day, filled with the excitement of ocean waves rushing to the shore as the sun breaks through the clouds, feeling the mighty presence of mother earth. The taupes, blues, grays and other neutral shades will naturally compliment any contemporary decor whether traditional or transitional. The frame, custom made in California, has a hand applied finish in burnished gold tones with some distressing. A one of a kind original seascape, this realistic work of fine art was painted by multiple award winning artist David F. Henderson. Henderson attended Boston University School of Fine Art in the 1970s after which he has had a distinguished career with clients that have included Kraft, the Franklin Mint, Random House Books and numerous distinguished private collectors. The unframed size is 39w x 47h.
