About the Item
Expressive winter landscape by Joan Graber (American, b. 1934). Puffy clouds hang in a yellow sky above a snowy field. At the horizon, large evergreen trees tower over the scene. Some gold paint has been lightly applied to the sky, creating the illusion of a glowing sun.
Signed "GRABER" in the lower right corner.
Artist's stamp on verso with name, address, and phone number.
Presented in a gold colored aluminum frame with a triple mat.

Joan Graber (American, b. 1934) grew up in New Jersey and attended the Newark School of Fine and Industrial Arts. After graduation, Graber moved to Cupertino, CA, where she spent the majority of her life. Graber gained popularity painting children’s portraits, but also paints landscapes and still lifes.
