From the west lawn of the Cheshire fox hunt kennels is a fence line that overlooks much of the hunt country. Thousands of acres of farmland have been conserved, the watershed has been rehabilitated and habitat for wild animals restored.
In this painting, the leaves have begun to turn to their summer colors. The occasional hot afternoon sun heats the low-hung morning mist of the valley and pulls it upward into towering clouds.
