Borchert’s purple and lavender hued abstract cityscape painting reflects the artist's dreams and inspirations. "The Circulation of Dreams" is a painting that celebrates and exemplifies not only Borchert's signature painterly architectural style but also her beliefs in the good to come and staying hopeful. "The Circulation of Dreams" is a notable work of the artist, and has been on exhibit in major world-class museum, The SAM in Pennsylvania, exhibited amongst the works of the most accomplished artists of our times in the museum. The painting also has been featured in a number of publications such as "Arte Realizzata" and "East City Art" a Washington DC art publication. In Borchert’s signature abstracted architectural cityscapes, there is an emphasis on tall buildings and looking up. Thus, Borchert's cityscapes are a celebration of landmarks not only to present their beauty through a poetic artistic touch, but to also stress on the importance of staying hopeful and dreaming big. In her cityscapes, Borchert highlights her love for the NYC skyline. An architect at heart, Borchert builds a visual painterly cityscape of a dreamscape that embodies the essence and spirit of the city.

Vian Borchert
Vian Borchert is an established expressionist artist who has exhibited in many group and solo exhibitions internationally. Vian is a “Notable Alumni” from the Corcoran George Washington University, Washington, DC. Borchert considers her expressionistic art as visual poems. Vian’s art has been on exhibit in prestigious places such as the United Nations Lobby Gallery, NYC. V. Borchert’s art is in private collections worldwide, embassies, and museums, and the artist exhibits in world cities such as NYC, LA, DC, London, and Berlin. Borchert’s art has been featured in numerous publications such as The Washington Post, The Flux Review, Influential People magazine, Artpil, Art Reveal magazine and others. Furthermore, Vian has extensive knowledge in art history, and she has worked in museums such as the National Gallery of Art in Washington DC. Borchert teaches fine art classes in the Washington DC area.
