Colorful landscape by American artist Walter F. MacGregor (American, 1890-1979). Dated and signed "1969 Walter F. MacGregor" in the lower right corner. Presented in a dark wood frame with multiple fillets. Image size: 16"H x 20"W Walter F. MacGregor (American, 1890-1979) was a second-generation Scottish immigrant who grew up in Minnesota. After going to school at St. Cloud State and the University of Minnesota, he became an architect and teacher. After struggling to find work during the depression, he spent time as a Civil Works Administration Engineer in St. Cloud and State Director of the works division of the CERA.
