Still Life with Fishes is an original oil painting on wood panel realized around 1935 by an anonymous artist of the Italian school of the XIX century.
A wonderful still life with a big sturgeon, an anguilla, and two sea breams with shiny scales, placed on a table with a wicker basket and a jar in the foreground.
Painted with incredible realism, superb strokes and vivid colors, this modern artwork is in very good conditions, except for the curved wooden panel and for the artwork surface that is slightly scraped off along the natural veins of the wood.
