A well crafted 19th century needlework on silk, depicting the Story of Jesus and the Samaritan Woman at the Well. Composed from wool and silk yarn and finished with watercolour. The religious scene has been well presented in an elegant hardwood frame with off white mount. On silk.

    There are several small tears in the silk. These can be seen to the back of the woman's cloak and Jesus's face. The colour of the needle work has discolored due to light exposure. These is some debris caught between the glazing and oval mount.
