10" x 18" (HxW) Photographic Print
The long exposure used by professional photographer William Mackie allows for light streaks to run the length of the Brooklyn Bridge. Lines of white and red combine with the yellow glow of the bridge's fluorescents. Orbs of star-like lights line the tops of the suspension cables, creating a dazzling image of light and dark in this evening view of New York City's glow.

Artist Commentary:
After fourteen years of construction, the Brooklyn Bridge was completed in 1883. The bridge connects the boroughs of Manhattan and Brooklyn, crossing over the East River.

Artist Biography:
William brings many years of creative experience to the table. He possesses an MFA in Cinematography from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. His studies have taken him around the world. In the summer of 2008 he studied at the prestigious Film and Television School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, the fifth oldest film school in the world. In 2011, while completing his masters, Will traveled to Dublin, to work on the Academy Award nominated film Albert Nobbs starring Glenn Close. With this experience he is able to provide exceptional composition and lighting to all of his work using his highly refined eye to turn your special moments into art.
