This artwork titled "Expandingr" 2001 is a original color lithograph on wove paper by American artist Betty Rees Heredia A.K.A Betty Snyder Shapiro, 1919-2011. It is signed, titled, dated and numbered 1/20 in pencil by the artist. The image size is 17 x 13 inches, framed size is 32.25 x 20.25 inches. Custom framed in a metal black frame, with off white matting. It is in excellent condition, the frame has minor restored scratches.. About the artist: American artist Betty Rees Heredia A.K.A Betty Snyder Shapiro 1919-2011 was a multi-dimensional artist. She was well noted for her work in oil painting, water color, wax pencil, charcoal, sumi ink, drawing, hand made paper sculpture, paper mache, clay, wood, marble, printmaking, wood cuts, linoleum block, etching, monotype, serigraph, and multi-media silk screen. She attended the Tyler School of Art at Temple University, and studied under the founder, Boris Blai, and printmaker Arthur Flour. Her work is held in collections in California and nationwide. Two of her work are in the collection of the De Young Museum in San Francisco.
