A superb impression of this extremely scarce etching and aquatint. First state (of 2), before the darkened background. Edition of approximately only 11. Signed in pencil. This etching, an image of a young prince and two exotic dancers, was one of the 27 works by Nolde labeled "degenerate" art by the Nazi's and shown in their exhibit "Entartete Kunst" at Munich in 1937.
