Collagraph with silver leaf on white BFK Rives Printmaking Paper. Unframed.

"These prints are pulled from a Collagraph plate created by applying gel media onto a plexi plate, inking it up and rolling it through an etching press onto printmaking paper. A Collagraph plate deteriorates much more quickly than a metal plate, leading to a very limited series of prints. As the relief flattens out, the images gives way on the crispness of the resulting image, leading the way into much more mysterious imagery. Each image results in its own, unique interpretation, together they speak of their relatedness yet individuality - much like a family." - Karin Bruckner
