About the Item
Hand-printed fine arts poster 70x100
Limited Edition Printed, signed, and numbered by the artist 2019
Architectural story number six captures abandoned, but nonetheless gorgeous and unique brutalist architecture.
Architectural story number six has been created from two original ink drawings. Silkscreen printmaking technique allows to achieve a stencil on a framed textile (covered with light-sensitive emulsion) by exposing an ink drawing, which then is used to print the image by hand on environmentally friendly high-quality fine Munken 400 gsm paper (with water-based inks, light blue and shimmering gold), each colour as separate layer through separate frame. This technique produces a distinctive volume and sense of material detail of the image.
There are two variations: light blue splash (small edition of 5 prints) or light blue splash with the building (edition of 8 prints). As the work is made by hand, details might differ from illustrations provided here. Unframed. The size of the print is 70x100 cm, which perfectly fits to a standard frame size. Delivery in a cardboard tube.
