Description:
Earl Marshawn Washington is best known for his relief prints, which often tackled themes of race and industrialization. In this original print, Washington exposes us to the laborer in the process of producing. Retaining his rigid lines and dramatic contrast of lighting, Washington creates a technically astute image. In it, the viewer is exposed to three idol-like figures in action, attentive only to their work.
