About the Item
San Francisco United Air Lines original vintage travel poster. Archival linen-back and ready to frame. This original poster is in very fine condition with no restoration. On the lower edge what would appear as minor damage is actually the design of the artwork running along the white stripes of this image.
The famous San Francisco Van Ness Ave to California and Market Streets is on the front of the trolley car. The cable car is jammed full of tourists and they start to glide down the hill.
On the right side, you can see a pagoda roofline and the Golden Gate Bridge. The man on the left is holding onto the railing with his leather-wrapped camera hanging by his side.
Stan Galli original posters are very collectible and this one could be a great prize for a San Franciso artwork collector. A very fine condition mid-century original vintage poster you will be very proud to own.
