Original vintage travel advertising poster - Discover Australia - issued by the Australian National Travel Association to promote tourism to the country. Fantastic image by Eileen Mayo (1906-1994) featuring traditional artwork and symbols from the Dreamtime stories of an emu and an Indigenous Aboriginal Australian wearing a head-dress on an earthy red brown background with emu footprints along the top border and the title in stylised letters below with the text - Particulars at Government, Shipping & Travel Offices - and a kangaroo logo on the bottom. Good condition, restored tears, restored pinholes, restored creasing, paper loss in top left corner.
