Original vintage railway travel poster for Devon issued by Great Western Railway GWR featuring a great illustration by the notable British poster artist Frank Sherwin (1896-1996) of a beach in Devon with fishing boats in the foreground and a sailing boat at sea, holiday makers in the water and on the sandy beach leading to rocks with buildings below a green hill by the promenade, the title text and GWR logo below. Printed by Stafford & Co Ltd, Netherfield, Nottingham and London for display at Paddington station. Good condition, restored folds, restored tears, restored creasing, restored paper losses, staining, backed on linen.
