Original vintage car dealer showroom advertising poster for Volkswagen Beetle - Our most expensive option: A hole in the roof - featuring a great design showing a smartly dressed man wearing a suit and looking up to the viewer through the open sun roof of a VW Beetle with the VW logo and text below explaining the price of $1,675 that includes benefits of added extras such as a heater and de-froster with an optional $90 extra for the hand-fitted sunroof option that will bring sunshine and fresh air and a view of nothing but sky. The German automobile maker, Volkswagen ("people's car") was founded in 1937; the company's Type 1 two-door models were first manufactured in 1938, achieving a peak growth in sales and popularity during the 1960s hippie era. Very good condition, staining, creasing, backed on linen.
