About the Item
Out West is a beautiful rare book illustrated by 24 panels with photolithographs realized by various authors.
Printed probably in Germany, around 1900. Black and gold embossed title on linen strap cover (slightly stained, rubbed on the bottom and edges).
The illustrated plates with different illustrations have brief captions in English. Including portraits and views of the United States from Buffalo Bill, various Indian chiefs and warriors, views of Santa Fe, railroad tracks, Pikes Peak, Mount of the Holy Cross, Garden of the Gods, Colorado Springs, Georgetown, Panorama of Denver (on two panels), trekking settlers, cowboys.
Slightly stained, partially torn in the folds, a fold reinforced with fabric strips. Generally in excellent conditions.
