Original French vintage poster: Elle & Vire - Les bons beurres.
Original French, Linen backed antique poster. Fun cheese and butter poster. Excellent for any dining room or kitchen. Linen backed; excellent condition. Clean and bright. Designer: J Bolot.
The Elle & Vire group was created by Auguste GRANDIN on December 23, 1945, with the constitution of the agricultural butter company in the Elle and Vire valleys.
Size: 12.25" x 16.5". Year: 1953. Printed in Paris, France. The various tones of green make the cream of the Gruyere cheese pop on the page. The red of the Camembert round box is a perfect color combination. If you add this original vintage cheese poster to your home decor you will most likely be eating much more cheese!
This Elle & Vire is an Original Vintage Poster; it is not a reproduction. This poster is conservation-mounted, linen-backed, and in very good condition. Minor wear for 70 years!
