Chien épagneul-griffon attrapant un canard (Spaniel-Griffon canine capturing a duck).
Exceptional and large bronze grouping statuette with rich chocolate patina. Natural base signed (P.J. MENE)
Height: 15 cm (6 in.), length 45 cm (18 in.), depth 16 cm (6-1/4 in.).

Bronze à patine médaille signé sur la terrasse.
Fonte ancienne atelier MÈNE.
Ce groupe est une édition fractionnée de la chasse au canard exposée au salon de 1850.
Il existe un dessin préparatoire, coté en centimètres et titré Epagneul de la chasse au canard, qui en fixe la composition d'une manière précise par la position des pattes antérieures et de la patte postérieure droite notamment.
