About the Item
The present work is a rare piece from Roland Goeschl's time at the academy. In the technique of chased copper, which was unusual for him, forms are modelled that are still strongly reminiscent of his teacher Fritz Wotruba. This unique piece is a valuable testimony to Goeschl's academic training, where he experimented with a wide variety of techniques in order to later find his own distinctive formal language.
