1980s Dansk Denmark Brown Mist Covered Casserole Serving Dish by Niels Refsgaard
By Dansk
Located in Atlanta, GA
A vintage lidded casserole serving dish in Brown Mist by Niels Refsgaard for Dansk. You may know Dansk, if not don't worry I'll get to them later. For now, let's look at who Niels Refsgaard is. From a Dansk catalog, "Niels Refsgaard has been an integral part of the Dansk story for more than 60 years as a designer, creator, and brand champion. We like to think of Niels as one of Mid-Century Modern’s ceramic masters, and as this design theme is enjoying renewed attention in the last several years we have not only re-issued some of Niels’ early work, we’ve commissioned him to develop a new approach to the casual dining experience." And now, let's look at the 'brown mist' design - Dansk Brown...
