We are delighted to offer this Magnificent solid silver gilt set of six fruit/dessert knives and forks. The set was made by silversmith Aaron Hadfield of Sheffield in 1839. All the cutlery is meticulously crafted and decorated with a 'Queens Pattern' design. In addition to the exquisite and intricate design on each of the pieces, the entire set presents a rich silver-gilt gold colour that conveys a sense of importance and indulgent opulence. Each piece is fully hallmarked on the knife/fork and their respective handles. An exceptional, fine and impressive Russian silver gilt and niello enamel beaker, an addition to our Russian silverware collection. This exceptional antique Russian silver gilt beaker has a cylindrical, tapering form. The surface of this antique beaker is embellished with a fine niello enamel scene depicting a structural rooftop skyline behind a towered brick wall, incorporating cloud designs on the matte textured upper portion. The ornamentation to the beaker is flanked with two opposing chevron style borders. The upper rim of the beaker is encircled with an applied moulded border. An exceptional, fine and impressive antique Russian silver Torah pointer/yad; an addition to our Judaica silverware collection This exceptional antique 19th century Russian silver Torah pointer/yad has a knopped tapering cylindrical form. The bulbous knops are each plain and unembellished. The plain tapering handpiece is embellished with applied interlacing designs to the upper portion. The shaft of this silver Torah pointer has a stranded twist design, to an undulating circular collar style knop. This lower knop terminates with an impressive hand, with its index finger pointed.
