It is a thrill to see this 1960's Geoffrey Beene ensemble in its entirety which includes a dress with belt, a jacket/coat with sash and a neck scarf. Lots of parts ... lots of looks! All pieces are made from a heavy weight wool knit in complimentary blue and bluish gray. The weave of the fabric has the color and look of denim which gives the ensemble that classic Geoffrey Beene combination of effortless style in comfortable fabrics. The mod a-line dress zips and hooks at the back with a coordinating belt which is cleverly placed at the waist even though the two tone color gives a drop waist effect. It also has fun little hidden pockets at the front.
