Rare Fantasy Collectible Bes Ben Surreal Mask Hat from the 1940's. The Mad Hatter of Chicago created some of the craziest novelty designs of the period. Black velvet mask shaped hat with Victorian style blacked cut steel butterfly decorations. Beautifully hand crafted. 1950's USA.
These were insane conversation starters which attracted all the celebs and socialites of the period.
