This dress designed by the legendary Kenzo Takada in 1980 Illustrates beautifully the cult designer’s aesthetic that crossed borders, colours and cultures. Kenzo was a very special figure in the Parisian fashion world and influenced the generation of the era.His designs entered the world of Western high fashion to create a flamboyant fusion combining Eastern and Western fashion sensibility. The dress exuberant colour and pattern is a reimagined traditional Japanese kimono for a youthful western fashion scene. Constructed from silk material, the dress features a round collar and a three-quarter length sleeves with false barrel cuffs. asymmetrical fastening from the neck line to the side with a series of pink lucite buttons.
