About the Item
Gorgeous 1940s black silk moire Avant Garde evening gown! Features a luxurious silk moire that gives off just the right amount of sheen. Buttons up the front with the same silk moire fabric covering the buttons. Hidden hook-and-eye closure at inner waist for added security. Dramatic angled collar and elaborately gathered short sleeves. Extremely well made, with an expert eye to attention. Most of the workmanship was completed by hand. A timeless addition to any wardrobe.
