Red Silver Lamé Cocktail Wiggle Dress, 1950's
About the Item
Bombshell beauty! 1950's wiggle dress in a slinky red silver lamé fabric with a bow accent at the bodice and hip pockets. The sleeveless silhouette zips and hooks at the scoop back with a shallow kick pleat at the hem and a satin acetate lining. This one would make Marilyn Monroe proud! No maker's label though it appears to be commercially made.
CONDITION
Good vintage condition with some wear to the red finish of the metal zipper pull. Professionally cleaned and ready for wear.
SIZING & MEASUREMENTS
The size is not marked though the dress best fits U.S. size 2 and might work for a size 4 with attention to the following measurements which were taken without stretching fabric though there is some give. For visual reference, the mannequin in the photographs is a size 4 and the dress zipped but was skin tight.
