New Milly Pewter Panné Velvet Quipao Top with Jeweled Brooch Buttons – S, 2012
About the Item
One part short sleeved evening jacket and one part formal top, the best part of this striking piece is neither its gleaming gunmetal finish nor its tulle-stuffed Renaissance sleeves; rather it is the black jeweled buttons, each of which is pinned to the fabric and therefore removable and wearable as a dress clip. Like getting eight pieces of jewelry as well as one formidable top.
Princess cut evening jacket / top with ruched, tulle-lined short sleeves, Mandarin collar and cutaway front panels; bust darts and rear waist seam. Six removable brooch-style black jeweled buttons which latch via hook and eye; lobster claw clasps. Fully lined in pewter satin.
