Some of the most beautiful power suits of the 1980's sprung from the artistic mind of Margaretha Ley and her Escada label. This fun black and tan tropical print is a bit of a departure with a more casual lightweight silk fabric in a design reminiscent of the glamorous 1940's era including an extra high waist skirt and peplum jacket with strong shoulders. The collarless jacket buttons at the front with angled pockets, a nipped waist and a voluminous peplum shape. The high waist skirt has an asymmetrical zipper at the back with a kick pleat and darts at the front panel to create the perfect hourglass silhouette. Perfect as a warm weather suit but consider wearing the skirt as a separate with a black tank and flat sandals for a completely different look. Both pieces are fully lined and in excellent condition.
