About the Item
Authentic, vintage, preowned Bonnie Cashin for Sills jacket and skirt set, circa the 1960s. Made from an absolutely fabulous cherry red, pink and orange boucle wool knit, the jacket is trimmed in rich, cherry red leather.
A gorgeous and quality-made two-piece suit that can be worn together or separately! Made by the mother of American sportswear, Bonnie Cashin, whose design innovations continue to influence fashion designers to this day.
Made in the USA. No content or care label; dry clean only. Skirt lined at rear. No size tag, fits like a modern S: shoulders - 17in, bust - 38in, waist - 30in, hips - 38in, sleeves - 20in, length - 38in. Skirt: waist - 26in, hips - 36in, length - 26in.
Preowned & vintage (50+ years old) with some signs of age, use and prior wear: some wear and darkening to areas of to the leather trim as you would expect from a vintage garment, hard to see when wearing but evident if inspecting closely.
