Documented Pierre Cardin Plunging Hostess Dress and Skinny Pants - XS-S, 1970

About the Item

Singular and stunning, this unforgettable 2-piece ensemble is the embodiment of the jet set zeitgeist prevalent in the 1960s and early 70s. Consisting of a split-back maxi dress and coordinating cigarette pants, the outfit can be worn open either in the front or back for two different—but equally glamorous—looks. The riotous floral print and textured cotton only add to its charm. Documented and part of the permanent collection at the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
