Japanese Antique Mirror Black Frame 1930s-1940s Wabi-Sabi

About the Item

This is an old Japanese mirror. It was made in the early Showa period. The whole thing is made of solid wood and has a sturdy construction. The frame is painted black. The paint is original from that time. The frame has been chamfered. The mirror surface also has a chamfered finish. The mirror surface is as it was back then, and there are some stains, but the reflection is clear. You can use it by leaning it against the wall, or you can use it by hanging it on the wall.
