Antique Chinese Silvered Copper Alloy White Jade Inset Snuff Bottle Qing c.1900

About the Item

Fine antique Chinese Qing Dynasty silvered golden copper alloy snuff bottle of hulu double gourd form, inset with 4x carved five petal white jade plum flowers, body decorated with scrolling foliage and ruyi head border in relief above the raised foot-ring, with four characters apocryphal relief mark to base for Qianlong, and topped with a matching stopper. Circa 1900-1910 Late Qing Dynasty Provenance: for a similar bottle without jade insets, see Bukowskis Auction, sale 454137, lot 1392 Weight: 80 grams
