George III Style Polished Steel Fire Grate
About the Item
A large antique George III style polished steel fire grate. In Victorian style, this three barred grate sits above a finely cut and pierced apron. Depictions of mythical beasts and flowers are amidst scrolling stylised foliage and surmounted by a pair of small steeple finials.
