A 19th century French Empire marble fireplace/mantel piece with scrolled legs, circa 1820. Antique marble fireplace in Empire style. This beautiful type of marble is called Brocatel du Jura, grande melange, in the colors yellow to violet pink. Console fireplace with large scrolls (curly shape), double-thick top and corner pieces with panels. Dimensions: h 107 x w 175 x d 43 cm Inner size: 83 x 130 cm
