Painted Cast Iron Garden Urns and Pedestal Bases, American, Mid-20th Century

About the Item

Painted cast iron garden urns and pedestal bases, American, mid-20th century. A pair of white painted cast iron metal urns on square pedestals with the original period finish and oxidized patina. The cast iron jardinieres, so-called 'Vase Chambord', with the fluted body on shallow square feet and wide scrolled foliate handles and sit on separated square open-work pedestal. Rust-proofed and repainted. Dimensions: 33 1/2 inches in height x 17 1/2 inches wide ; Bases 19 3/4 inches x 8 1/4 inches square; Urns: 17 1/2 inches wide x 14 1/2 inches high x 12.5 interior diameter.
