Martha Pachon Rodriguez, group of 3 starfish bowls, 2019, porcelain. Unique pieces, entirely handmade.
Measures: Large bowl: 26cm diameter x 18cm height
Medium bowl: 20cm diameter x 12cm height
Small bowl: 14cm diameter x 10cm height
These sculptural porcelain pieces are inspired by the sun and the sea of Sorrento in the Amalfi coast.
Martha Pachon Rodriguez (Colombia, 1967) originally from Colombia, moved to Italy to complete her ceramic studies in Faenza, one of the most representative ceramic production centres in Italy. Her porcelain sculptures often evoke sea creatures and the underwater world using slabs of extreme fineness allowing her to obtain stunning transparency and color effects.
