We are delighted to offer for sale this new in the box with original presentation cases, Limited Edition of 100 suite of three 22ct solid gold sovereigns titled “HER MAJESTY QUEEN ELIZABETH II LONGEST REIGNING MONARCH SOVEREIGN COLLECTION”

This set, The 2015 Queen Elizabeth Il Longest Reigning Monarch Sovereign Collection, is a fitting tribute in recognition of Her Majesty achieving this historical landmark.
This exceptional collection of sovereigns has been struck in the highest possible proof quality, and will be highly sought-after by collectors around the world.
This limited edition set is one of just 100 sets available worldwide.
The condition of the coins is new old stock, they have only every had the cases removed for me to take these pictures, the box has some slight patina marks and a small crack at the back, the certificate has a fold line down the middle, the important thing is the coins are 100% perfect proofs
The coins are all solid 22ct gold and the published weight is 14 grams, 22ct gold on the fineness scale is classed as 0.9167, 24ct gold is considered 1.00 pure
During the royal commonwealth tour of 1952 in Nairobi, Kenya – Princess Elizabeth Alexandra Mary and her husband Prince Phillip were staying at the famous African Treetops resort. The royal couple climbed up a tree to where they would stay for the evening, unaware of what the following day would bring. Elizabeth’s father, King George VI passed away in his slumber and from that moment, a new monarch was born and at just 25 years old Elizabeth came down from that resort as a Queen.
In 1953, the official coronation for Queen Elizabeth II took place in Westminster Abbey and on that momentous occasion, Her Majesty made an oath to govern the people, uphold law and justice and to maintain and preserve the Church of England. While this was made in front of family, world leaders and peers of the land, most importantly for Her Majesty, it was an oath made before God.
Having already broken many of records over the years, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II became Britain’s longest reigning monarch on 9 September 2015 when she surpassed the reign of her great-great-grandmother Queen Victoria. This solid 22-carat Gold sovereign is an enduring tribute to that very moment.
