English Hand-Painted Regency Mahogany Tea Caddy c.1820
About the Item
A really magnificent and pretty Regency tea caddy, the splendid shape having been beautifully painted on all sides with floral and foliate garlands, each panel framed.
The top retains it's original gilded ring finial which compliments the three original gilded knobs to the three interior lids. The interior of the lid also retains the original green velvet lining.
Regency in era, dating to around 1820, the box remains in superb condition, alas no key. 9 3/4" x 6" x 6".
