Neapolitan 18th Century Late Baroque Pair of Bronze Altar Candlesticks

About the Item

Late Baroque or early Rococo pair of sinuous form bronze Candlesticks. Italian born, they were probably alter pieces and have a subtle decoration on the shiney bronze candleholder top and curlicue bronze legs at the bottom. The tubular centers have intermittent urn and vase forms rising to a flared bobeche. We also have listed two shorter pairs (see last photo). Measurements:  4 1/4 inches diameter at base  x  20 1/4 inches high.
