American modernist pair of candle-holders by famed metal-smith Thomas Roy Markusen, made in copper with a rare red acid patina. The pair was made during the late 1970s to early 1980s in the United States and has makers marks on the bottom.
Markusen was commissioned to create a similar pair of raspberry patina candle-holders for the White House collection of contemporary crafts.
