A superb set of 7 ancient prehistoric ammonite fossils presented on our small turned painted plaster bases. This group showcases ammonites of varying tone, texture and tactile finishes. Highlights of this collection include the polished jigsaw ammonite with its silken finish that showcases the complex patterns of its internal structure, and the iridescent ammonite with its beautiful lustre. Others are set into a natural matrix. Originating from Madagascar and the UK, these ammonite fossils are millions of years old, making fascinating display pieces for a collector’s cabinet.
