19th C. French Empire Gilt Bronze Jardiniere with Napoleonic Bee Motif

About the Item

This is a 19th century French Empire gilt bronze jardiniere with a Napoleonic bee motif. It is marked on the underside. It is in wonderful condition. The enamel is a gorgeous garnet color which allows the gilt bees and bronze to shine. Height to the top of the enamel is 6”. To the handle, 18.5”.
