Iron Wire Wicker Basket
About the Item
A substantial and well-made iron weaved basket with a blue-gray hue, circa mid-20th century or earlier. Basket is rectangular with a weaved iron construction, two handles; likely used for gathering and holding fresh clams or other shellfish on the deck of clam boat. Today, it can be used for the same, or as decorative, storage, as a cache pot to hold plants or flowers (demonstrated), etc. Many uses in many spaces including but not limited to a kitchen, bathroom, garden, workroom, etc. Dimensions: 10.88" Depth x 15" Width x 9.25" Height to top of handles (6.63" Height to top of basket.)
